Dr. Venkata Krishna Rao has PhD in Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and holds more than 20 years of experience in Biopharma with Wockhardt, Natco and Krebs. Dr Rao possess significant expertise in Biotech Process Development involving bacterial expression systems and has developed indigenous technologies with objective of cost reduction, scalable, ease for operation at large scale manufacturing with high Quality profile. He has tremendous scientific expertise and knowledge in all areas of biosimilar development – Clonal development, Clonal process development, Analytical Transfer, Technology transfer and Manufacturing operations.

Dr. Rao is a founder and key leader of GeneSys. Dr Rao’s critical expertise made it possible to develop an indigenous Bioprocess Platform Technology at GeneSys and is integral in all areas of product and process development at GeneSys.
